Analisis Potensi Penyalahgunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan Mitigasinya terhadap Hak Asasi Manusia

Technological advancements are currently developing rapidly and providing convenience for everyone. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the most innovative technologies today. However, sometimes the lack of a legal umbrella can lead to deviations in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that harm basic human rights, so legal certainty is needed. The purpose of this study is to determine how Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to violate Human Rights and how mitigation efforts can be made to reduce or prevent human rights violations. The research method used is normative juridical, with a regulatory approach, both national and international laws related to Human Rights, and data sources obtained from library research. The results of the analysis indicate that AI protection can have a serious impact on basic human rights, so a comprehensive mitigation strategy is needed, such as the establishment of special regulations, the establishment of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) supervisory agency, strengthening digital literacy, and the development of accountable and transparent technology. Thus, technological developments, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI), can be directed towards technological progress without sacrificing the principles of Human Rights.
